How providers are found
Providers are found through local search across every region of Northeast Florida, through the service categories listed on this site, and through industry certification bodies where they publish member lists.
What verification means
Before a company appears here, its own website is checked to confirm three things: the business is operating, it offers plumbing, and the service area shown here matches what the company itself publishes. The date of that check appears in the footer.
Verification does not mean the work has been inspected, insurance has been confirmed, or this site endorses the company. It means the listing is factually accurate as of the check date. Get quotes, check credentials, and make your own judgement before hiring anyone.
Ratings
Where a rating appears, it shows the value, the platform it came from, and the month it was checked. Ratings are never averaged across platforms and never shown without a source.
Paid placement
Listings are free. Any paid or sponsored placement is labelled directly on the listing where it appears, not buried in a disclosure page.
Corrections and removal
If you run a business listed here and something is wrong, or you would rather not be listed, use the contact form. Corrections are made and removal requests are honoured.
Cost guides and tools
The cost figures in cost guides come from current industry cost data, cross-checked across multiple sources rather than taken from a single one, and dated so it's clear when each figure was last checked. Where something is specific to Florida or to Northeast Florida rather than a national average, that's called out directly rather than presented as a generic number with the city name added. These are planning figures, not quotes, actual pricing always depends on the specific job.
The interactive tools, like the cast iron risk checker, use transparent, published logic rather than a hidden formula. Every result explains exactly how it was worked out, not just what the answer is.
