Short version
This site does not currently run advertising, analytics, or any third-party tracking. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing here yet that needs one.
What this site actually stores
The only thing stored in your browser is a single preference: whether you're viewing this site in light or dark mode. It's set only when you use the theme toggle, it stays on your device, it identifies nothing about you, and it's never sent to us or to anyone else. Under most cookie laws this counts as a strictly necessary/functional storage item, the kind that doesn't require consent because it's not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising.
What isn't here yet
No Google Analytics, no Google AdSense, no affiliate tracking pixels, no third-party ad networks, no social media embeds that set their own cookies. If any of those get added, this page stops being this short. Specifically, before any advertising or analytics cookie is allowed to fire, this site will add a proper consent banner (this portfolio's standing choice for that is Consently, a Google-certified consent management platform) so you can choose before any non-essential cookie is set, not after. This page will be rewritten at that point to actually list what's running, where it's from, and what each one does, rather than describe a banner that doesn't exist yet.
